Generally speaking haemorrhoids do not develop into a serious issue if detected and treated on time. This does not happen as often as one would hope because of the embarrassment associated with this condition. In the early stages of a case of haemorrhoids one can do a lot to help by watching one’s lifestyle and finding the right product to make the healing process more comfortable.

If there is blood in your stool, especially if this is dark red, it is advised that you see your GP immediately for further examination.
